I am a software engineer and founder based in Lagos. I build systems in the categories where being wrong is expensive: property title verification, payments and escrow, and clinical records. Most of my work has been in Nigeria, for Nigerian and diaspora users, against Nigerian infrastructure, which is a specific engineering problem and not a smaller version of a Western one.

My background is backend. Money systems taught me the discipline that everything since has depended on: ledgers that reconcile, idempotent money movement, and the assumption that any external system will fail mid-transaction and you will have to explain what happened to someone whose money it was. Core banking and wallets, gifting and payments, laboratory information management, clinical records: different domains, and the same demand each time that the record hold up.

Health was where the through-line became obvious. Building iPrescribe against HL7 FHIR resource models, and then leading engineering on CareOne, the recurring problem was never the feature. It was trust in the record: who wrote it, whether it had been altered, and whether anyone downstream could rely on it. That is the same problem a Nigerian buying land from London has, with higher stakes and worse tooling.

So I founded LandSight. It puts an accredited verifier behind every property report, writes a hash of that report and its risk level to Hedera mainnet, and pays the verifier out of an escrow contract only when the report has been reviewed and approved. The contracts went to mainnet in August 2026. The deliberate constraint is that the escrow holds the verifier’s fee and never the buyer’s purchase money. The platform proves work was done, it does not custody anyone’s life savings.

What I actually enjoy is the part before the code: working out which guarantee a system has to make, and then making it in the smallest way that holds. The LandSight escrow contract is seventy-eight lines. That is the point of it.

I write occasionally about the technical decisions behind this work: chain selection, the Nigerian land registry integration landscape, and FHIR adoption for e-prescriptions in Nigeria.
